Day 1 – Perth to Bridgetown
Our journey begins as we head south along the scenic South West Highway, passing through the picturesque township of Jarrahdale on our way to Serpentine Dam. Here, we’ll enjoy our signature morning tea, surrounded by tranquil forest, and the friendly 28's. We continue through the charming towns of Pinjarra, Waroona, and Harvey, where the region’s rich history and natural beauty unfold. Along the way, our friendly coach captain will share fascinating stories and local insights to bring the journey to life. Upon reaching Bunbury, we take a scenic drive along the Leschenault Inlet, via Saint Nicholas Church – Western Australia’s smallest place of worship. We’ll then enjoy a classic fish and chips lunch at The Parade Hotel, located right on the waterfront. Keep an eye out – you might even spot a few of the local dolphins playing in the bay! In the afternoon, we continue inland to the historic town of Bridgetown. Our accommodation for the night is the charming Nelson’s of Bridgetown, known for its warm hospitality and rustic country charm. Once settled in, you’ll have free time to explore or simply relax. We’ll regroup in the evening for a hearty two-course dinner.
